Acceptable Use Policy
A DigiCard card is a business card: your name, how to reach you, where to find you. Most people never need to read this page. It exists so the few who would misuse a trusted link know where the line is, and so everyone else knows we hold it.
You may not use the Service to
- Deceive people. No phishing, no fake login pages, no "verify your account" schemes, no investment, prize, romance or recovery scams, no links that pretend to be one thing and lead to another.
- Pretend to be someone else. No impersonating a person, a company, a bank, a government agency or a brand you do not represent, in names, links, logos or domains.
- Spread malware or spam. No links to software that harms devices, no short links used in unsolicited bulk messages, no use of our links or domains to get past spam filters.
- Publish illegal content. No sexual content involving minors, under any circumstances; we report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to law enforcement. No content that is otherwise illegal where we operate or where you are.
- Use other people's work without permission. No photos, logos, text or marks you do not have the right to use.
- Harass or threaten. No content that harasses, threatens or incites violence against anyone, and no doxxing.
- Sell what cannot be sold here. No weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen data or other goods and services that are illegal to offer.
- Abuse the Service itself. No scraping, no automated account creation, no attempts to get around limits, checks or takedowns, and no interference with other people's cards.
What we do about it
We check links against known lists of malicious sites when they are created and again every night. Visitors can report any card from the link at its foot, and a person reads every report. When something breaks this policy we disable the card, link, domain or account, usually the same day and without a refund, and we keep a record of what we did. Serious matters go to the authorities. If we disabled something of yours by mistake, write to [abuse email] and we will look again.
Reporting
