Privacy Policy
DigiCard is run by [Company legal name], Louisiana, USA. This page says what we collect, why, and what we never do. The short version: we keep what the Service needs to work and to stay safe, we sell nothing, and we do not track the people who open your card.
If you build a card
- Your email address, to sign you in and to reach you about your account. Sign-in links are emailed through Cloudflare.
- Your card content: whatever you put on it, including photos and links. A published card is public by design; a draft is not.
- Payment records: what you bought, when, and Stripe's reference for it. Stripe processes the payment and holds your card details under its own policy; we never see your card number.
- A short activity log: your IP address and browser type when you sign in, publish a card or create a short link, kept for 90 days. We keep it so that if a card is used for fraud we can tell who published it and answer lawful requests. It is deleted automatically after 90 days.
If you open someone's card
- We count views and taps for the card's owner by day, with no IP address, no cookie and no device fingerprint. We honour the Do Not Track setting. The owner sees totals, never individuals.
- If you choose to share your details through a card's contact form, they go to that card's owner and nowhere else.
- The card page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address under Google's policy.
- If you report a card, we keep your report, the address it came from and, if you gave one, your email, so we can follow up and stop abuse of the report form.
Cookies
The builder sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in for 30 days. Card pages set none.
Who else sees data
Cloudflare hosts the Service and delivers the pages. Stripe handles payments. Google's Web Risk service is asked whether a link you add is on a list of malicious sites; it sees the link, not you. We use no advertising or analytics companies, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Safety
We may review card content and links, by automated checks and by a person, to enforce our Acceptable Use Policy. We report sexual content involving minors to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, as the law requires. We share information with authorities when the law obliges us to, and we tell you when we are allowed to.
Your choices
You can edit or delete drafts yourself. Write to [privacy email] to get a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and published cards; we do it within 30 days. Deleting a published card takes it offline for good, since its link cannot be reused.
Children
The Service is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly keep information about anyone younger; tell us if we have, and we will delete it.
